Czech artist Veronika Richterová is an aficionado when it comes to the upcycled plastic bottle. Using heat and various methods of technological processing, she has created curious translucent ephemeral sculptures, lighting and installation from recycled plastic PET bottles. Her exhibition A Tribute to PET Bottles is a documented collection of over 3,000 PET bottles from 76 countries around the world, in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic. 1. Great idea. I already knew that we can use plastic bottles to create many handy stuff, but never for art 🙂 Cool performance!
