Eqo Optics reclaimed skateboard sunglasses

By Antonia Edwards

There is a distinct lack of sunshine over London right now so UK readers will have to use some imagination here! Over in Colorado Springs, skateboarding enthusiasts Jon Winfrey and Ryan Vecchiarelli have created Eqo Optics, a company that turns unwanted broken skateboards into fabulous wayfarer inspired sunglasses.  The shades feature the multi-layered remains of the skateboard deck and are coated in food-grade resin – a most excellent idea.
