Rag rugs made from discarded clothing in Sweden

5

Stockholm designers Katarina Brieditis and Katarina Evans have set themselves the challenge of transforming old jumpers and t-shirts from the Salvation Army into beautiful rag rugs.  The project started in August 2012 and they aim to produce one piece per month until September 2013 using various knitting, sewing and crocheting techniques with fabulous results.  I really want one of these!  You can see a great deal more of their colourful rag rug projects documented on the Re Rag Rug blog.
