Out of the Dark upcycling workshop with Bubble London

Last month, I had the pleasure of taking part in an upcycling workshop organised by Bubble London and the awesome charity Out of the Dark, a social enterprise that educates and employs vulnerable young people from disadvantaged backgrounds. A group of bloggers and journalists gathered at Pitfield where we were taught how to reupholster a seat for an old school chair. We had great fun personalising them with donated fabrics and furniture paint. Showcased at the Bubble London exhibition in Islington last week, the chairs went up for auction with proceeds going to Out of the Dark. There’s still time to get your hands on one of these chairs – the bidding is open until 9th February! Send your bid to lindsay@bubblelondon.com
