Julia Vasic is a San Francisco based luxury eco brand with a clean, sporty and feminine aesthetic. Jewellery is made from discarded materials, such as unwanted t-shirts destined for landfill. After studying fashion at Central St. Martins in London, Vasic went on to design for Michael Kors, Libertine, Victoria’s Secret and Cynthia Rowley. She also holds an MBA from the Presidio Graduate School in Sustainable Management . The mission of the brand is to create and inspire change around social and environmental issues such as pollution, waste reduction and species extinction. A portion of the proceeds from each purchase are donated to support partnership with the Endangered Species Coalition, a non-profit organisation in Washington, D.C., that advocates against species extinction and habitat loss.
