Reclaimed fabric toy characters by Katkaland

Katkaland is the playground of Katka Hubacek from Quebec, Canada. These wonderful handmade creatures are influenced by a childhood spent drawing princesses, dressing her doll Blanka and feeding her imaginary animals. Her education in Scenography and Costume Studies provided an ideal platform for bringing her fantasy world to life and she now makes a whole host of beautifully made characters such as Geoffreys, Damsels, Cuties and Burts. What’s even better is that many are made from recycled textiles too such as the Beast-Tees made from old t-shirts and Grimmies made of recycled plush. Buy her Katkaland Creatures on Etsy here as well as her great range of recycled bags and accessories here.
