Commissioned by Coca-Cola, UK artist Sarah Turner has created a series of chandeliers and a sculpture made from Coca-Cola bottles for the Olympics Centre in London. Inspired by the Olympic rings, the statement lights comprise circular disks with rings of plastic bottles. Each is two metres wide and uses 190 Coca-Cola bottles. The suspended sculpture is a huge 9 metres tall and made from thousands of hand cut pieces of waste bottles and cans tied onto invisible wires. It depicts a diver at three stages of a high dive and spans three floors of the stairwell.
