Rebecca Ward is a New Zealand born jeweller from Brisbane. Her work features recycled materials, particularly sea glass and pebbles found on remote beaches on the South Island of New Zealand. She also collects recycled glass from demolition yards, beaches, second hand shops, glaziers and tumbles it to neutralise the sharp edges. The pieces are then diamond drilled and assembled into items of jewellery using sterling silver and various types of thread and cable. Our favourite piece is this necklace made of tumbled glass from Bombay Sapphire gin bottles.
