Furniture made from reclaimed materials by Shiner International

Joe Manus is the brains behind Shiner International, a name that derives from the black eye he acquired aged 7. Having earned a reputation designing high end boutiques and nightclubs in Atlanta, USA he launched his first collection of modern, eco-friendly furnishings.  All materials including steel, hardwoods, cardboard, lexan and linen have been diverted from the incinerator. This has led to strategic partnerships with leading refuse and recycling companies. “It is our goal to transform tons of landfill-destined materials into killer design. By building heirloom pieces out of disposable elements, we refine the future by upcycling the past.” Pictured above – Mood Rocking Bed.
