It may seem unlikely that wearing an old tent could result in a winning outfit. As proved by Danish designer Lisa Våglund the tent look isn’t quite as dowdy as you might imagine. Part of the aftermath of a hip and happening festival is a graveyard of abandoned broken tents. Våglund recovers them from the Roskilde Festival and turns them into stage outfits for singer Kissy Asplund. She not only makes a point about the environment but highlights the massive expense of the post-festival clean up operation and how this money could be put to better use. Image via Ecouterre.
