Tooting Tram and Social

Having recovered from a white wine fuelled weekend celebrating birthdays and catching up with old faces, I can now write coherently about our excursion to the Tram and Social in South London.  What was once a tram shed has been cleverly converted into a late night pub decorated in mismatched lampshades, leather seating, vintage eccentricities and Italianate chandeliers that hang from an impressive 75ft ceiling.  Look out for the beautiful canopy of lightbulbs that adorns the front entrance, just off Mitcham Road, a stone’s throw from Tooting Broadway tube station.  Image via Ewan Munro
