Planetarium: Recycled cardboard lights by Graypants

By Antonia Edwards

Spherical pendant recycled cardboard Scraplights by Graypants

Seattle design company Graypants (as in, the trousers) make a whole host of great design products, always with local, responsible, sustainable production methods in mind. These Scraplights are made entirely from recycled cardboard boxes and come in variety of sizes and shapes.

The Jupiter series pictured above look stunning when clustered together, creating a beautiful play of shadows on the surrounding walls.  The latest addition to the range is the Drum scrap light which blends the cardboard with sturdy clear-coated steel frames and frosted tempered glass lenses. Buy their recycled cardboard lights online here.
