Retro revamp: Revived furniture by Zoe Murphy

Since graduating, Zoe Murphy work has quickly gained attention both at home and abroad, and has already graced the shelves of Liberty’s. Her upcycled furniture celebrates the optimistic colour, pattern and style of the 1950s and includes drawings of urban and coastal imagery inspired by her home town of Margate.  As well as revamping unloved furniture she uses silk from old wedding dresses to make colourful cushions.
